Senior Vice President of Strategy and M&A

Samir is EXA’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and M&A. He is responsible for EXA’s inorganic growth initiatives, which include growth strategy, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions.
Samir brings more than 25 years of telecom and private equity experience. He began his career in telecom, focused on corporate finance and M&A, at Chase Securities Inc., now Chase JP Morgan. He then raised, managed and activated multiple private equity platforms in Europe and the Middle East, and has served on numerous boards. Samir holds an MBA/MA from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and is an Alumnus of the Lauder Institute of International Management.
