Jeremy Steventon-Barnes

Chief Technology and Information Officer 

Jeremy is EXA Infrastructure’s Chief Technology & Information Officer. His 30 years’ international experience in telecoms and technology includes senior leadership roles with Casa Systems, BT, Tellabs and Level 3, where he was part of the original European team delivering long-distance, metro and transatlantic fibre infrastructure and data centres. For BT, Jeremy led major network and systems programmes including the UK’s first scale fibre to the home build, which led him to co-found LightSpeed Fibre Holdings, raising over £100m investment to develop digital infrastructure in under-served areas. He has advised on billions of Euros of M&A transactions and delivered multiple integration projects. Jeremy holds an MBA from London Business School and an MSc in Telecoms Engineering from King’s College London and is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.
