Kate Hennessy
Chief Financial Officer
Kate Hennessy is the Chief Financial Officer of EXA Infrastructure. She brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining EXA Infrastructure, she served as CFO at Verne Global, a leading provider of sustainably powered data centers in the Nordics, where she established the finance function, drove significant business growth and secured debt financing to support expansion.
Before Verne Global, Kate spent 15 years at Liquid Intelligent Technologies, where she held several leadership roles, including Group Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Mergers and Acquisitions. She played a pivotal role in funding, constructing, and operating a fiber network exceeding 100,000 kilometers, developing the Africa Data Centres platform, and driving business growth from $1 million to over $240 million in adjusted EBITDA.
Kate has extensive expertise in raising capital across debt markets, loan syndication, and private equity, having secured billions in financing throughout her career. She is highly skilled in guiding businesses through high-growth phases and executing successful turnaround strategies for underperforming assets.
