Sandra Delany
General Counsel
Sandra Delany is General Counsel of EXA Infrastructure, where she is responsible for the Group’s legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters. She joined the company following its acquisition of Aqua Comms, where she served as General Counsel for over eight years. During that time, she played a key role in numerous subsea cable projects and strategic investments, and helped drive transformational change within the business, culminating in the successful sale of Aqua Comms.
Prior to this, Sandra held international roles with Actavo Group, BAE Systems, and Dell. With over 25 years’ experience, she brings a broad range of expertise, having worked with both indigenous and multinational organisations on global technology, engineering, and telecommunications projects.
Sandra is a qualified solicitor. She holds an LL.B from Trinity College Dublin, an LL.M in Computer and Law from Queen’s University Belfast, and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance (C. Dip AF). She is also a regular contributor to subsea regulatory forums and events, including as an organiser of the Valentia Island Subsea Cable Symposium.
