It will be in Mazara del Vallo on the Italian island’s southeastern shoreline, and will consolidate existing landing sites there into a scalable next generation facility better able to address the needs of a rapidly changnig market. Sicily’s importance as a hub between Europe, Africa, and Asia has been steadily growing for a while now.
