Macarne LLC, an advanced network solutions and IP Transit specialist, has inked a partnership with EXA Infrastructure for critical backbone infrastructure as it builds a reliable and scalable global network.
The partnership will enable Macarne to quickly scale its IP transit offering and provide its customers with fast and reliable services across the Atlantic via diverse connections. EXA Infrastructure's extensive network footprint of over 500 optical Points of Presence allows for onward connectivity to major hubs around Europe, including Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
EXA Infrastructure was selected for the project due to its six diverse routes across the Atlantic, including the fastest-owned route, the EXA Express. In total, EXA Infrastructure's network encompasses 155,000 kilometers across 37 countries and over 3,000 possible route combinations. More than 65,000kms of the network is 400G enabled, offering further scalability and ensuring ultra-low latency and high bandwidth connectivity across continents.
Arne Ruhnau, Managing Member, Macarne LLC said: "EXA Infrastructure bridges our European and US markets, strengthening our global presence with access to one of the most modern and advanced fiber networks on the market. We're pleased with how quickly this deal has come together, and we see EXA Infrastructure not just as a vendor but as a true partner, helping us lay a strong foundation for our global IP transit network."
"Route diversity is increasingly important for our customers, particularly on trans-Atlantic routes which are critical for modern digital businesses. The optionality we can provide for trans-Atlantic connectivity will enable Macarne to scale their network and be highly responsive to supporting their customers" said Nicholas Collins, Chief Commercial Officer, EXA Infrastructure
